Issue

Instructors need to know the priority dates for submitting requests for new external app integrations in Canvas to ensure timely setup for academic terms.

Resolution

Submit your requests for new external app integrations by the following Priority Dates to ensure they are processed before the start of the associated academic term:

  • Fall Term: June 1
  • Winter Term: October 1
  • Spring/Summer Terms: February 1

Requests submitted after these dates will be handled on a best-effort basis. This means that ITS will process these requests as resources and time permit, with priority given to those received on or before the Priority Date.
