Canvas CCM: Launch Error in Safari

Issue

When loading CCM from within a Canvas course a launch error appears stating "The tool could not be launched. It is likely your browser is blocking third-party cookies..."

Resolution

Enable cookies and cross-site tracking in Safari for CCM to load.

  1. Safari > Settings > Privacy tab
  2. Uncheck "prevent cross-site tracking"
  3. Uncheck "block all cookies"
