Zoom: Join Meeting from Google Calendar Invite

Environment

U-M Zoom, Google

Issue

  • You can receive an invitation to a Zoom meeting in several ways, including an email invite that will appear on your Google Calendar when you accept.
  • How do I join a Zoom meeting from a Google Calendar invite?

Resolution

To join a Zoom meeting from a Google Calendar invite:

  1. Click Yes to accept the email invitation from the meeting host.
  2. Click on the Join Zoom Meeting link. It will open the meeting in your browser or redirect you to open it in your desktop app.

Note: If you have integrated your Google Calendar with the Zoom Calendar Client in the desktop app, you can also join the meeting from your desktop app Calendar view.
