If your Lecture Recording site's Publishing Settings are not set to Automatic, you will need to manually publish them in order for any students to view them.
To publish a Lecture Recording,
- Go to your CAEN Lecture Recording My Sites page. (https://leccap.engin.umich.edu/leccap/manage/site).
- Click the Manage Recordings option for the site that has recordings you want to publish. This will open the Recordings tab, displaying all Lecture Recordings that have been made in the site, regardless of their availability to viewers.
- Click on the cloud icon associated with any recording, and then adjust the publish status as desired:
- If the cloud is grey with an x inside, the recording is unpublished
- If the cloud is green with a check mark, the recording is set to publish and anyone with approved access to that link can see the recordings.
- You may also schedule a recording to be published (and/or unpublished) at a specified date and time in the future. Recordings can also be set to unpublish after a specified date.
- Click the Update button to save changes and publish the Lecture Recording as is.
Note: Recordings must be published in order to be viewed. When publishing, please allow at least 20 minutes for the recording to process before letting your students know it is available.
