How do I manually create a Lecture Recording?

To manually create (i.e., start/stop) a Lecture Recording, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://leccap.engin.umich.edu/leccap/manage/site
2. Click on the title of the Lecture Recording site in which you would like to manually create a new recording.
3. In the upper-right corner of the screen, press the Create Recording button.
4. Click Connect to the capture system. If your class meets in multiple spaces, you will be prompted to select a room from the drop-down menu.
5. Click the Start Recording button (circle) to begin recording.
6. Set the duration for the length of time you would like to record.
7. Press Yes, Start Recording.

Create Recording will be selected by default, but there are also options to Upload Lecture Recordings or Import Zoom Recordings.
