How do I manually create a Lecture Recording?

To manually create (i.e., start/stop) a Lecture Recording, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the CAEN Lecture Recording Management site (https://leccap.engin.umich.edu/leccap/manage/site).
  2. Locate the site that you would like to create a new recording for, and click Create Recording.

Note: If your class meets in multiple spaces, you will be prompted to select a room from the drop-down menu.

  1. Click Connect to the capture system.
  2. Click the Start Recording button (circle) to begin recording.
  3. Click the Stop Recording button (square) to stop the recording.
