The Block M menu is a collection of quick links, useful tools and IT information that can be found on all LSA Technology Services-managed Mac computers.

Functions

Function Description
Mac Version Displays the current version of macOS installed on your device.
Serial Number Displays the factory serial number for your device.
CrowdStrike Falcon Displays the version of the installed endpoint protection software and whether it is enabled or not.
Lock Screen Locks your computer. You must enter your log-in information to unlock it again.
Stay Awake This prevents your computer from going to sleep for 3 hours.
Connect to U-M VPN This opens Cisco AnyConnect application to allow you to connect to the U-M VPN.
Request Computer Support Opens the portal to submit a service request.
LSA TS Knowledge Base Opens the LSA TS Knowledge base.
U-M Service Status Displays current notices of outages, service degradation, and current/upcoming maintenance events.
Managed Software Center Opens the Managed Software on a Mac.
MPrint Installer Opens application to install MPrint Printers
