Zoom opens Outlook when Scheduling a Meeting

Issue

When scheduling a new meeting in Zoom, upon hitting Save, Outlook launches instead of Google Calendar.

Environment

Mac and Windows

Zoom Software

Cause

This appears to happen when Zoom is first installed or possibly on a reinstall of Zoom.

Resolution

There is a setting in the scheduling window that needs to be selected.  See image below.

  • When in the scheduling area, scroll down to the bottom and find the "Calendar" area.  Select Google Calendar.  This will stick once you have saved the setting once.
