HCM PAR - View Images Doesn't Work When Using Google Chrome

Environment

HCM Par, Google Chrome browser

Issue

When trying to view images in PAR in Google Chrome, the system just spins. It will work with Edge and Firefox browsers.

Resolution

This only happens if you are using Google Chrome and have the Adobe Acrobat extension activated. Turning off or removing the extension entirely resolves the issue.

To remove or turn off the Adobe extension:

1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of Chrome
2. Select More tools
   1. Select Extensions to see all the installed extensions
3. On the Adobe Acrobat (Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools) extension, click Remove or click on the blue slider to turn it off 
4. Restart Chrome to and the extension will be removed or disabled
