How can faculty & staff fax a document using MPrint?
Resolution
Whether you are located on campus or working remotely, faculty & staff can fax a document using an MPrint-supported Xerox Multifunction printer that is set up with a fax line. Your options are different depending on whether you are using a Mac or Windows device.
First, if you have not already done so, you will need to install the printer you wish to use.
Important!
-
Mac Users: You must install the dedicated “fax” version of your desired printer to fax a document. If you do not see one, please contact the ITS Service Center for assistance.
-
Windows Users: You can install either the standard or "fax" version of your desired printer. See the applicable instructions below.
-
Fax to External Number: If you are faxing to an external (non-campus) number, you will need to dial 9 + 1 + area code and phone number.
-
Working Remotely: You must connect to UMVPN if you are working remotely.
