How do I make sure the links in my Canvas course work?

Resolution

Only Teachers, TAs, and Designers can validate links. See the Instructure guide How do I validate links in a course? on the steps to validate links in a course.

• On the course Settings page, click the Validate Links in Content button
• The validator will display if there are broken links or a link to another course
  • Instructors can edit the pages in HTML view, then edit the links to replace the course IDs with the right ones
• Often invalid links appear when using copy/paste between courses rather than importing
