Journal Entry: Getting .PDF output from Journal Entry upload template
Resolution
When there is a problem with a JE Upload, you will receive 2 files (.log and .out file extensions) instead of a .pdf as you should. This type of error can be solved by ensuring that the .dat file adheres to the following naming conventions:
- Does NOT contain special characters ($,#,%, etc.). Underscores ARE allowed
- Contains only ONE period, which will appear in the .dat file extension
