Issue

Where can an employee view their 1099 tax form?

Resolution

  • These forms are sent out via physical mail to employees and are not accessible online.
  • Employees are sent an email to let them know the 1099 has been sent.
  • If you are an employee and have not received your 1099 form in the mail, please call the Shared Services Center Supplier Records & Reporting at 734-615-2000 option 3, option 1 for assistance.

1099 Domestic Tax Reporting

NOTE: The 1099 is not the same as the 1099-R form. The 1099-R form is issued by either TIAA or Fidelity (per U-M HR | Retirement Savings Plans - Tax Matters). The 1099-R can be retrieved via the TIAA or Fidelity portals if it hasn't been received by letter in the mail.
