How to delete an MCommunity group

Resolution

Note: You must be a group owner to delete an MCommunity group.

1. Go to mcommunity.umich.edu
2. Log in if necessary
3. Search for a group or access from the My Groups page 
4. Click the Move To Trash button on the group
5. In the confirmation dialog box, click Move To Trash 
6. The group will be deleted in 30 days; for immediate deletion, access the Trash tab and click the Delete Forever button

Once an MCommunity group is deleted, the group email can be re-used.
