Issue
When trying to upload a form to SignNow with calculated fields,...
- the calculations are disappearing
- various numbers and symbols appear on the form/replace certain text fields
Resolution
If you have a form with calculated fields that you would like to upload to SignNow, you must first complete all of the calculated data fields, then "flatten the pdf" before uploading it. To do this, you need to do the following:
- Select the Print option
- Choose the "Print to PDF" printer option to "print" the document
- Save the file again. The calculated fields will then be non-editable and appear correctly when you upload the document to SignNow.
- You can add any additional fields that you require (e.g., signature and date fields) before sending your document out for signature.
