eSignature tool available for U-M faculty, staff, and researchers on all U-M campuses
Issue
Obtaining an account to use SignNow.
Resolution
The E-signature Service provides a secure application (i.e., SignNow) that enables users to electronically prepare and send University business documents for the purpose of requesting and obtaining digital signatures and other information on those documents. Users can upload various types of document formats (e.g., Google, Word, Excel, pdf), then prepare the uploaded document for recipients to enter any necessary information (e.g., name, date, other information, initials). This offering is available to faculty, staff and students on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine campuses. It includes anyone who may be temporary as well. As long as their department gives them a shortcode to use and they have the email account, they can get an account.
To request access to SignNow, the following form must be completed: https://its.umich.edu/enterprise/administrative-systems/signnow/get-started/onboard
Account requests are only processed Monday - Friday during regular business hours by the TeamDynamix Group ITS-SCIdentityandAccessSupport. Requests are typically processed quickly but may take up to 2 business days to process.
