Adoption & Insights Portal (AIP), Barnes & Noble College
Issue
New instructors who are assigned to teach a class in a future term whose HR appointment has not yet started receive an error when attempting to log into the Adoption & Insights Portal to make textbook adoptions for classes.
Resolution
Affected instructors should work directly with U-M's dedicated team at Barnes & Noble College to adopt textbooks and materials for class(es):

New instructors should be able to successfully log into the Adoption & Insights Portal (AIP) after their official employment start date, which is typically once their first academic term begins.
