Issue

How do I get more information about DCE 101: Cybersecurity and Data Protection at U-M Course in My LINC?

Resolution

This training is a new, mandatory annual requirement that is assigned to individual's who are identified as active employees in the Human Resource Management System.

  • If a supervisor is receiving reminder emails for an employee who is no longer their direct report, please have them contact their HR department to update the employee's Supervisor ID field.
  • If a supervisor is receiving reminder emails for a former employee or student temp, it it because the employee was not end-dated or terminated in the HR system. Please advise them to contact their HR department to process the termination. They must ensure their status is officially updated to "terminated" in the HR system to stop the automated notifications.

Any issues with access to DCE 101 should be assigned to the TDX group ITS-DCE101-Training
