Issue
You receive an error message when attempting to open a PDF in Chrome. This can happen for any PDF (Report output, journal entry support, etc.).

Resolution
The issue stems from the Adobe Acrobat extension conflicting with the imaging system. Removal of the extension will allow you to open the PDF in Chrome without this error.
Remove Adobe Acrobat Extension
- Open Chrome.
- At the top right, select the three dots and go down to Extensions > Manage Extensions.
- On the "Adobe Acrobat: PDF edit, convert, sign tools" extension, click on the Remove button.
- Select Remove again to confirm.
FINPROD Process Monitor
If this error occurs while you are running a process, you can manually access the PDF (after removing the extension) by doing the following:
- Navigate to the Process Monitor page in FINPROD.
- Main Menu > PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor
- Locate the row for the process.
- Select Details.
- Then View Log/Trace to access the associated output files.
