Information about eduroam, the secure wireless network available on campuses worldwide
Resolution
Eduroam is a secure wireless network option available in U-M campus buildings as well as many other participating educational institutions worldwide.
Eduroam allows you to log in to the eduroam WiFi network at participating educational campuses using your "home" credentials.
- Active faculty, staff, and students with a U-M uniqname and password can connect to Eduroam at a participating campus by selecting the local eduroam network and using uniqname@umich.edu as the username and their UMICH (Level-1) password
- Alumni with uniqname@umich.edu and UMICH (Level-1) password
- People from other participating campuses can visit the U-M campus and use their email address and password to connect to eduroam
Please note: Password will need to be updated since summer 2020 with the 15 character minimum
Configure eduroam via MSetup at this website: https://msetup.its.umich.edu/ before visiting other participating institutions.
