Dropbox: Download Files Without Dropbox Account

Issue

External users are prompted to sign up or log in when trying to access a shared Dropbox folder.

Resolution

To download files from a shared Dropbox folder without a Dropbox account:

1. Go to the shared folder/file link.
2. Click download for the file/s you want
3. When prompted to sign up or log in, select the option under the blue "continue button" to continue with the download only.
4. Proceed to download the files without signing up or logging in.
