Adobe Reader not Available on MiWorkspace/PaaS Windows Devices

Issue

I can't find Adobe Reader on my computer to open PDFs.

Resolution

Adobe changed how Reader is installed and it can no longer be installed as a stand-alone application.  The new installer is not compatible with allowing a separate Reader and Acrobat application to exist on the same machine.  The new installer is also not compatible with Adobe device licenses.  

Adobe Reader is no longer available on MiWorkspace or Platform-as-a-Service Windows devices.

  • Use Chrome, Edge or Word to open and view PDFs.
  • Use Adobe Acrobat Pro to view and edit PDFs.
