Microsoft Login Flow Changes for Duo

Issue

Unable to authenticate to Microsoft 365 as it does not automatically redirected to the Duo Universal Prompt when signing into Microsoft services.

Resolution

This change is effective September 25, 2024.

To resolve the issue and receive the Duo prompt, follow these steps:

  1. When you see the "Verify your identity" screen, look for the option labeled "Approve with Cisco Duo".
  2. Click on the "Approve with Cisco Duo" option.
    1. It may not appear as a traditional button, but it is clickable.
  3. After clicking, the Duo Universal Prompt should initiate, allowing you to complete the verification process.
