Unable to find uniqname in MCommunity

Issue

Searching for an active person's uniqname in MCommunity (https://mcommunity.umich.edu/) returns no results/page not found.

Resolution

  • Verify the uniqname is spelled correctly
  • This typically happens when the person's Privacy flag is set to TRUE.
    • The ITS Service Center can change the Privacy settings for an individual at their request. They can not give out this information unless allowed by the individual.
