U-M Maizey: Enable/Disable Debugging Log

Environment

U-M Maizey

Issue

How to enable / disable debugging log access in a Maizey project.

Resolution

Project Owners have the ability to grant ITS support staff temporary access to view and use interaction logs recorded during a specified time period (e.g., 8 hours, 1 day, etc.) to aid in the resolution of technical issues. During this period, ITS support staff has access to all of your interactions with the U-M Maizey project, including prompts, replies, and indexing task results.

  • This access will be used solely for resolving your technical issue, and you can revoke access at any time.
  • If you do not revoke access, logging will automatically stop at the end of the time period you've specified.
  • When the debugging log is enabled, a message displays at the top of the chat tool to notify users.

  1. Open the Project Details page for the desired project.
  2. Click the Artificial Intelligence Settings tab.
  3. Click Update next to the Debugging Log Access setting.
  4. Select a time period in the Grant/Extend Access for drop-down menu.
