How can I create a new Qualtrics survey to use with the Qualtrics Connector for Canvas using the Qualtrics Connector template?

Resolution

Instructors who are creating a new Qualtrics survey to use with the Qualtrics Connector for Canvas can use a pre-configured template in Quatlrics.

To create the survey using the Qualtrics Connector Survey Template, use the directions for creating a Qualtrics survey from a template. 

• For How do you want to start your survey?, select "Use a Survey from your library" from the drop down menu.
• For Library, select "U-M Wide Library". 
• For Survey, select "All Projects and Programs" and then select "Qualtrics Connector Survey Template".

The survey created by using the template will have the settings needed for a Participation Score assignment. Instructors should check the survey theme to be sure the desired theme is selected. The theme UMich4 Dynamic will be sufficient for any surveys used in the Canvas Connector.
