Who can see my Preferred Name?
Resolution
Preferred Names are displayed in many U-M systems, including the Student Business system (Ann Arbor), MCommunity, Google and Canvas.
For Ann Arbor students, the Preferred Name shows on Student Business pages and communications. If you authorize parents or others to view Student Business pages or communications, they will also see your Preferred Name.
