Google: Can I Use Photos Storage Saver in My U-M Account?

Issue

I want to reduce the size of my photos and videos in Google Photos to reduce my storage total. Can I use Google Photos Storage Saver? 

Resolution

Unfortunately, the option to use Storage Saver in Google Photos is not available for Google Workspace for Education domains like U-M Google. This option is only available for personal (non-UM) Google accounts.
