Dell SD25 docking station compatibility
Resolution
The Dell WD25 docking station provides docking connections using a USB-C connection. On the back of the docking station, there are multiple ports for connecting other devices. In addition to the AC power in connection, the back of the device has the following ports available: 3 USB-A 3.2 with PowerShare, 2 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 RJ 45/Ethernet, 1 HDMI 2.1, and 1 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 multifunction DisplayPort 1.4. On the front of the dock, there are two ports available: 1 USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and 1 USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 with PowerShare.
To be fully compatible, the dock must provide adequate power for the device and successfully work with 2 monitors, a mouse, keyboard, and networking. The following MiWorkspace recommended and supported PC laptops are fully compatible with this dock:
- Dell Latitudes 5420, 5430, 5440, 5450, 5530, 5540, 5550, 7350 (standard and detachable), 7400, 9410, 9420, 9430, & 9440

These laptops cannot be reliably used with this dock and attempting to do so is not recommended or supported:
- Dell Latitude 5410, 5520
- Dell Precision 5550, 5560, 5570 & 7680 - not enough power
- Dell Pro Max 16 Plus (MB16250) - not enough power
