Change Maizey Legacy Chat App AI Settings

Issue

How to change the AI settings on a Maizey Legacy Chat app, including:

  • Conversational setting
  • Return data sources
  • Chunks
  • Debugging log
  • System prompt

Resolution

Note that these instructions only apply to Legacy Chat apps in Maizey. 

Maizey app AI settings can be edited by the project Owner (for private projects) or by members of the Admin Group (for non-private projects).

Note: 

  • If you create or modify an MCommunity group while logged into Maizey, you must log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
  • You do not need to reindex your project after making changes to an app’s AI settings. Reindexing is only required if you make changes to your data sources.
  1. From the main Maizey Apps page, click the three dots next to the app you wish to edit, then select Configure App.

  1. From there, you can edit various AI Settings by clicking Update. If changing them, see additional guidance for Enabling/Disabling Debugging Log or Changing Data Chunks.
