Summary
Researchers at University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine have access to a vast network of resources for data analysis, database design, survey design, data pipelines, and scientific programming. This article provides information about different offices and research cores that provide data-related consultation services, including those with expertise with mobile data and mental health data.
List of Offices and Cores Providing Data Consultations
Biomedical Research Core Facilities - Bioinformatics Core
The Bioinformatics Core helps researchers identify and interpret patterns in RNA and DNA by placing sequencing data into a biologically meaningful context. This encompasses assisting with experimental design, developing reproducible workflows, analyzing next-generation sequencing data, and supporting manuscript development/publication. We offer an initial, free pre-analysis consultation to discuss the types of analysis and support bioinformatics can provide. We provide analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, including RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and Exome-Seq, as well as other high throughput data.
