Change My UMICH Password

Issue

How to change your UMICH (Level-1) Password.

Resolution

1. Go to UMICH Account Management and log in.
   1. If you are unable to login, please use the Forgot password? link, and follow the instructions on-screen
   2. If you login successfully and you are prompted to change your password, follow the instructions on-screen
   3. If you login successfully you are not prompted to change your password, click Change Password in the left side navigation column
      1. Type your new password in the New Password field
      2. Retype your password in the Confirm Password field
      3. Click Set password
2. If you are not able to complete the steps above, and you are not a Michigan Medicine affiliate please contact the ITS Service Center via chat or phone for further assistance.

Michigan Medicine:  Effective March 7, 2024, most users with a Michigan Medicine affiliation are redirected to Michigan Medicine services or the Health Information Technology & Services Service Desk to change a UMICH (Level-1) password.
