What should I do if the text or icons are too large or too small on the CAEN Windows Remote Desktop Service?

First, make sure you have the most recent version of the Omnissa Horizon Client installed. Then make sure to enable the Allow display scaling setting:

  • Log in using the Horizon Client to: caen.midesktop.it.umich.edu
  • In the bottom-right corner of the client window, click Settings:

  • Click the "CAEN Labs" environment you wish to use, then make sure Allow display scaling is enabled:

Note: If you are already connected you will need to resize the window for the change to take effect.

If you still have problems, you should also check if your display resolution exceeds the maximum display resolution.
