How do I create a Poll Everywhere Assignment in Canvas?

Follow the steps below to create a PollEverywhere Assignment in Canvas:

1. Open Poll Everywhere.

2. Log in using your UMich credentials.

3. On the left hand side, click “Activities”.

4. Click “+ Activity”.

5. Create your poll.

6. Activate your poll.

7. Open Canvas.

8. Log in using your UMich credentials.

9. Choose the course you want to use your poll in.

10. Click on “Assignments”.

11. Click “+ Assignment”.

12. Set up your assignment (title, description, points, etc.).

13. For Submission Type choose “External Tool”.

14. From the list, choose Poll Everywhere and click “Select”.

15. Click “Save & Publish”.

16. Click “Load Poll Everywhere in a new tab”.

17. Click “Continue”.

18. Click “Add new gradebook”.

19. Click “Continue”.

20. Click “My activities”.

21. Select the activity you want to import into the Canvas Gradebook.

22. Click “Create Report”.

23. You have now synced the grade for the poll into your Canvas Gradebook.
