Getting a Great Lakes user account

Summary

Obtain a Great Lakes user login.

Environment

The Great Lakes high-performance computing (HPC) cluster.  

Directions

1. The requester must already have a regular uniqname. If they do not (e.g., summer program student, external collaborator, etc.) they must first be sponsored as an Academic Affiliate, which provides a regular uniqname and basic computing services.
2. Complete the online form.
3. The requester will receive an email with additional information once the user login has been created, generally in less than 1 business day.
