  1. Uninstall the old version (If needed). Contact LSA Technology Services if you need administrator privileges.
  2. Reboot the computer.
  3. Download ImageNow from Software Center:
    1. Click on the Start button (Windows icon) in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
    2. Start typing Software Center then press Enter.
    3. Select the Available Software tab.
    4. In the search bar start typing ImageNow. A listing for ImageNow should appear.
    5. Click on the checkbox next to ImageNow.
    6. Click on the blue Install button in the bottom right corner of the window.
  4. Reboot the computer.

  • The Connection Profile should be correct by default. If there is a connection error, try these steps
  • If the ImageNow was downloaded under another login:
    • At the destop computer. have the student sign into the computer. The two files on that computer desktop - inscan.xml and indevice.xml.  From the windows explorer window, type in %appdata%.  Select ImagenNow folder.  Copy the two files into this folder.  Have the user restart Perceptive Content.  She should now see the capture profiles that are missing and should be able to scan from the scanner/printer.
