Summary
As of September 2016 you can link your U-M Google account to your LSA Web Hosting cPanel account. This allows you to login to your cPanel admin page with the standard U-M https://weblogin.umich.edu/ page using your uniqname and UMICH password.
This is a great way to add additional administrators to your cPanel account. They will need to initially know the password for your cPanel site, but you can change the password afterword and they will still have access. Note they will still have access to change your password again, but it can be good in situations where you may want to remove access in the future.
It is also useful if you have multiple cPanel accounts. You can link multiple accounts to your uniqname so that you do not need to remember the multiple cPanel usernames/passwords, just your uniqname and UMICH password.

Directions
The easiest way to link U-M Google account to your cPanel account is to log into your Admin Page and click Password & Security either in the Preferences section of your site:

If you scroll to the bottom of that page, you will see the External Authentication section.
Click the blue "+ Link Account" button.
If you are not already logged into your U-M Gmail account, you will need to log in and follow the step above. At this screen enter your email address:
It will redirect you to the standard U-M Weblogin page to log in:
Once you have logged in, or if you are already logged into your U-M Gmail account, you will be presented with a screen that asks for permission to link your Gmail account to your LSA Web Hosting account:
Click Allow.
You will be required to provide your cPanel username/password one more time to confirm you want to link your accounts. You will be redirected to a page that states that “Your account uniqname@umich.edu is not associated with an existing “cPanel” account. Please log in to connect the account.” Login with the cPanel username/password that were provided to you one last time.
Your U-M Gmail account is now linked to your LSA Web Hosting account. In the future, you can login to your page by visiting your Admin Page and clicking the red Google login button:
