Home Tab

1.Upcoming reservations

  • This shows any upcoming reservations you’ve made, with information like the equipment or pick-up location

2.Current Checkouts

  • This shows any current checkouts you’ve made and when they’re due to be returned, with information like what location they’re due back at or what equipment is a part of that checkout

3.Checked out Resources

  • Lists the resources you currently have checked out, regardless of what center they might have come from or checkout they might be a part of. This includes late equipment as well. Clicking on a resource will bring you to the checkout it’s a part of

4.History

  • This shows your history of completed checkouts. Clicking on a checkout will show you what pieces of equipment you checked out, as well as when/where it was picked up and returned.

5.Your Cart/ New Reservation

  • Shows any current reservations you might have started (noted as an allocation starting with “ck-“). Clicking on “new reservation” will start creating a new reservation

 

Center Tab

  • Clicking on the Centers Icon will allow you to search the catalog at specific centers to see what equipment they offer
  • Please note that looking at these centers is only browsing, it does not create or continue a reservation

 

Select a center to see what equipment is available to be checked out at that location

What you see when you select a specific Technology Library Location to browse. The numbers and letters in the green boxes correspond to their labels below.

  1. Checkout Center Options
    1. Message of the day
      • Selecting this will show you the Message of the Day that first appears when browsing by a center. The MotD includes the Technology Library’s contact information and any updates about holiday hours, center closures, or other things that might affect creating a reservation.
    2. Reservation Information
      • This will list any relevant reservation information that you might have at the Technology Library location you are looking at
  2. Cart
    1. Current reservation being made OR New Reservation
      • “New Reservation” will create a new reservation if selected
      • If you already started creating a reservation, you will see it here (starting with “ck-“). Selecting that reservation will let you continue adding items or editing that reservation
  1. Description of the center’s collection
  2. Upcoming Hours of Operation of the center
  3. Location & Contact Information of the center
  4. Search type (Attributes)
    1. Navigation Bar
      • Shows you what you are looking at and if there are previous layers. “Top” indicates that you are at the topmost layer.
      • Read “Searching the Catalog” to see what the Navigation Bar looks like when you select search categories
    2. Search Categories
      • Selecting a Search category will let you find equipment by what is indicated in the name of the category
      • We recommend “Search by the Equipment Catalog” for most general searches!

  • Note: Searching the Catalog does not start or continue a reservation, it just shows you what items are available at that Technology Library Location

Navigating the Catalog:

  1. Going forward: Select a Category
    1. TYPES are specific Items listed in that category
      • clicking on a type will give you information about that specific piece of equipment
      • Specific pieces of equipment might list other similar or compatible pieces of equipment in labeled categories here! This is a great way to find out more about what the Technology Library has to offer
  2. Going Back: Select a previous page on the Navigation Bar
    1. Select “TOP” to go back to the beginning
    2.  The last listed category on the navigation bar indicates what you are currently looking at
