Catchbox Microphones

Catchboxes with hand held and lavalier microphones in charging bases

Catchbox runs on batteries for two different devices

  • 1 rechargeable lithium battery for the microphone transmitter and 1 AA alkaline battery for the amplifier

  • Rechargeable batteries and charging stations are variously located at podiums, designated cabinets or in projection booths.

To power on a Catchbox or replace batteries when necessary:

  • Remove the cyclinder by rotating counter clockwise half a turn, then pull it out.
  • Peel back Velcro to access the microphone.
  • Toggle switch at the top of the microphone to turn on or off
    • Green light ON, red light OFF.
  • On/off switch for amp battery:
    • If light is green, battery is good - if red, battery is almost dead.
  • To change rechargeable battery, carefully remove the microphone transmitter
  • Microphone element is connected to the Catchbox
  • Replace cyclinder and turn clockwise
