Catchbox power-on and battery replacement procedures

  • 1 rechargeable lithium for the microphone transmitter and 1 AA alkaline for the amp.
  • Rechargeable batteries and charging stations are variously located  at podiums, designated cabinets or in projection booths.

To power on a Catchbox or replace batteries

  • Remove cylinder by rotating counter clockwise half a turn, then pull out cylinder 
  • Peel back Velcro to access microphone 
  • Toggle switch at the top of the microphone to turn on or off.  Green light ON, red OFF
  • On/off switch for amp battery: If light is green, battery is good, if red, battery is almost dead
  • To change rechargeable battery, carefully remove the mic transmitter
  • Mic element is connected to the Catchbox 
  • Replace cylinder and turn clockwise
