To request a new U-M domain name at the "umich.edu" level, please select the "DNS Exception Request" and fill out the fields. Approvals for DNS Exception Requests can take up to two weeks and are often completed in less time. If this is a request for a change of an existing record or for a new departmental request select "DNS Standard Request".
