This service is a web-based solution created by iFax Solutions that eliminates the need for a fax machine to send and receive faxes. Copies of sent and received faxes are forwarded to an individual or group email account, and originals are removed every 24 hours from the central servers. Accounts are tied to 10-digit university phone numbers, located on a university server, and connected to the university telecommunications infrastructure and the internet. IP Fax accounts are currently available on the Ann Arbor campus.
