How do I use live captions / transcription in a Microsoft Teams meeting?

Resolution

  • To use live captions in a meeting:
    1. Go to your meeting controls and select More options
    2. Select Language and Speech > Turn on live captions
  • To use Transcription in a meeting:
  1. Go to your meeting controls and select More options
  2. Select Record and Transcribe > Start Transcription
  • To stop using live captions:
    1. Go to your meeting controls and select More options 
    2. Select Language and Speech > Turn off live captions

 

  • To stop using Transcription in a meeting:
  1. Go to your meeting controls and select More options
  2. Select Record and Transcribe > Stop Transcription
