Zoom in Canvas Errors

Issue

When I click on Zoom in Canvas, it shows a warning message. What do I do?

Resolution

  • Check the steps outlined here: https://documentation.its.umich.edu/zoom-canvas-start#Zoom%20in%20Canvas%20Warning%20Message
  • If the warning message shows 'Verify LTI Signature Failed(2203)', Zoom is having trouble with something in the Course Code such as a hidden special character. Try retyping the Course Code (an admin may have to do this):
    1. Click Settings
    2. Click Course Details if not selected by default
    3. Find the Course Code field near the top
    4. Delete the contents and retype it
    5. Click Update Course Details at the bottom
