Issue

You want to change the URL to your U-M Google Site.

Resolution

Note: This method of changing the URL to your Google Site will only allow you to change the text after "https://sites.google.com/umich.edu/." This means that if you plan to name your U-M Google Site's URL "test-website," the full URL would be https://sites.google.com/umich.edu/test-website.

  1. Go to https://sites.google.com/new and open up the Site you want to change.
  2. In the top-right corner, select the drop-down menu next to the "Publish" button.
  3. Click "Web address".
  4. Enter your URL.
  5. Click Save.
