Issue
What happened to Google Currents? Why can't I access my Currents communities anymore?
Resolution
Google officially retired Google Currents on July 5, 2023. In an effort to consolidate the services they offer for collaboration, Google intended for individuals to transition from using Currents to Google Chat spaces. Learn more about using spaces in Chat. (Alternatively, you can also investigate other services which offer similar experiences, such as U-M Slack.)
All data in Google Currents was deleted on August 8, 2023. This data is now unrecoverable.

Google Currents was the service that replaced Google+.
