Digital Signage: Verifying Details in the New Tiered Solutions Dashboard

Issue

I received an email that my digital signs have been imported into the new Tiered Solutions Dashboard, and I need to verify that the information for each sign is accurate.

Resolution

To verify and update your digital sign information in the Tiered Solutions Dashboard:

  1. Log in to the Tiered Solutions Dashboard at https://sign.dsc.umich.edu/signageAdmin/dashboard/
  2. For each digital sign, click the Building field and enter the correct building
  3. Click the Room field and enter the nearest room number for the sign
  4. Compare the serial number listed on the dashboard for each sign to the CMS player name:
    • Confirm the serial number matches a device that is currently in use
    • Confirm the CMS player name corresponds to a sign that is currently displayed in your unit
    • If you do not believe that sign is currently on display, open a ticket with the Digital Signage team so they can help audit your billable quantity of signs
  5. Double check that the shortcode the sign is being billed to is accurate.
  6. Double check the email addresses listed for:
    • Support Contact
    • Financial Contact
    • Content Manager Contact
