There are different ways of viewing the People list, thanks to pre-defined list views. All views are coming from the same data, but they may have filters, grouping, or less columns to show. This is a short guide to the different views available in the People list.

Each contact in the People list has a specific type that encapsulates the relationship with that person. Thus, each contact can only have one contact type at a time, but they can change as people's relationship with the University of Michigan or with the center changes.
