How to post and email a staff announcement in TrackMaster

Summary

TrackMaster comes with an Announcements section, which is meant for sharing internal newsletters, reminders, staff meeting notes. This ensures these items are always searchable. This article shows how to post an announcement, and optionally email a copy.

 

Steps

Step 1

  1. Go to TrackMaster
  2. Scroll down to the Announcements section and click  + Add -> News PostUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  3. Select the Blank template (or pick one you like) and click Create Post
  4. Add your title, text, etc.
  5. If you want a picture banner, click the empty picture behind the title, then click the little picture button. In the popup, select a picture from Stock Images (or upload your own), then click Insert.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  6. When you’re ready, click Post and send on the upper right

  7. After publishing, you will see a popup where you can email a copy of the post to whoever you want (or a link). ​​​​​​If you send only a link, keep in mind that, depending on permissions, only center faculty and staff can access TrackMaster.
