Considerations
- Vendors regularly release new models and update continuing models. Devices used for grant budgets may not be available when it is time to purchase devices.
- Device models, even from the same vendor, may not have comparable sensor technology.
- While U-M may have negotiated pricing retail websites sometimes have lower prices. However, they may also have limits on the quantity that can be purchased.
- Some study management system vendors offer devices with delivery to participants as an additional service.
