Kaltura - Submit Video to Group Discussion

Posting a Kaltura video to group discussions in Canvas is slightly different than normal due to how groups are managed within the LMS.

Part 1: Retrieve the embed code

1. Go to My Media on the main navigation bar on the left side of Canvas.
2. Click on the video you want to embed.
3. Scroll down and click the Share tab below the video.
4. Copy the code that is displayed.
   

Part 2: Embed the video in Discussion post

1. Navigate to your group discussion and start your reply.
2. Click the HTML editor button at the bottom right corner of the text box.
   
3. Paste the embed code copied in Part 1.
   
4. Click the HTML editor button again to return to the normal text edit view. The video will now appear in the text box. Post your reply.
